"The State of the Broads in the Family of National Parks"

Updated: Apr 8

Due to family bereavement, Rose O'Neill is now unavailable, and the Broads Society is pleased to introduce:

Nick Hall, Political Affairs and Campaigns Manager

Campaign for National Parks

“The State of the Broads in the Family of National Parks”

An illustrated talk to be followed by an interactive discussion,

chaired by Dr Mark Collins, Chair of the Broads Society.

3:00pm to 5:00pm, Thursday 11th April.

The Auditorium, The Forum, Millennium Plain, Norwich NR2 1TF

Since 1936, the Campaign for National Parks has been fighting for the future of parks and protected landscapes in England and Wales - improving public access and securing biodiversity, wetlands and other key ecosystems. A health check to be published shortly by CNP shows that these precious jewels are not as secure as we might hope. In this ground-breaking presentation, Nick will discuss solutions for our National Parks and the Broads, finding ways to deliver sustainable access, correct the carbon balance, build resilience to a warming climate and help nature recovery.

This illustrated talk will appeal to all those who love and cherish the Broads.

Tickets just £2.00!
